About These Web Pages

I’m recently retired.    But I live in central New Mexico and I have family and lots of friends who still work at Sandia.  Whenever I get together socially with any Sandians, they eventually start to talk about problems with Sandia management (without, of course, ever talking about anything classified).

At first, I put this down to normal workplace gossip.  But then I began to notice an increasing amount of negative press about Sandia management: the Shawn Carpenter case, the Heather Wilson illegal lobbying case, mismanaged classified information, etc.  And at the end of 2015, I came across this article in The Hill that really startled me.

I started doing some research and was both astounded and saddened by the amount of mismanagement that occurs at Sandia and has been reported officially.  I shared that research with friends who suggested that it should have a wider audience.  That was the birth of this web site.

Feel free to comment.  If you want to remain anonymous, that is quite okay.  This site doesn’t collect any information about visitors, so I can’t share it with anyone.  The privacy policy is simple: you are anonymous if you want to be and no one will know you were here or that you left a comment unless you sign your name. This site doesn’t use persistent cookies, super-cookies, web beacons, or any other technology to track you, but I don’t have control of the host or servers, so don’t expect complete anonymity (if you are worried, you might want to investigate the Tor browser or a similar solution).

Especially if you are a Sandian, if you have an article that you would like to add, if you have a regular column you’d like to write for this site, or if you have a topic that you would like me to research, send me a note through the Contact Us page.  Include your own contact information if you want, or just remain anonymous.

But please, if you want to fix the labs, read through the Fixes section and follow some of the suggestions there.

Thank you.
